When I saw this article title I thought.. “oh no, someone’s finally going to point out how convoluted the Jungle Disk options dialog has gotten”. Funny that it ended up being the one dialog that we don’t control :)
That being said, we are planning on revamping the options dialog in the future to make it less intimidating for new users while still proving the advanced options requested by our users.
No, that dialog box belongs to Apple’s Keychain. I recall seeing it for Safari and other applications. Nothing to do with Jungledisk.
And yes, I was as irritated as you.

I felt bad about pointing the finger at jungledisk – whose software is free, and rather good for what it is.
On the otherhand, Apple is a worthy target. :-)
What would a good solution look like? I agree that this is confusing, but you shouldn’t criticize unless you’re prepared to back it up.

Good point Douglas. The keychain is a complex concept that you can’t just gloss over. However, I’ll have a stab at it.
