I still don’t even know what I’m listening out for. “Type what you hear.” Yeah, right.

There are dozens of websites and even a few paid subscription sites I have given up trying to access because of these. Where I work we use a simple question. ‘What is the opposite of cold’. This is enough to keep most spam away and is a much better compromise between loss of users and piles of spam.
