From this book we have Zipf’s law(Power Law). Theory of Least Effort sounds so much nicer than Laziness.

Also the whole theory of Generalised Cost which forms the backbone of transport economics. I have not seen the Theory of Least Effort applied to UCD, or HCI. There are some papers for library systems that mention it. Nielson mentions Zipf’s law but does not dig deeper.. It is a beautiful well written book for an academic book.
